Our invited guest has spent the last decade working with, and for Irish companies in China. He will provide his own unique insights and experiences into working with the so-called ‘low cost’ economies, dispelling some of the myths and introducing the real problems companies face. Speakers Duncan McInnes, d-Wise Duncan has worked in the NPD and manufacturing arena for over 25 years with multinational and Irish businesses, with the last eight years as consultant. Over the previous number of years, Duncan has travelled regularly to China and developed a successful supply chain for his clients. He has developed a particular expertise in integrating the supply chain into the front end of the NPD process. Duncan will share his experiences of working in China with Chinese suppliers. Mark Whelan, Enterprise Ireland Programme Leader for the Champions of Innovation Programme, Mark will give a brief overview of the Innovation Management Initiative and the aims and objectives of the Networking events. These will be held regionally on a quarterly basis.
