Company Profile

Dutec  Ltd. was set up after Verbatim floppy manufacturing closed its operation in July 1999 by Sean Conway and Brendan Morris both senior managers with Verbatim.  The company purchased the manufacturing equipment and set up operations in a 37,000 sq. ft. building in Corcanree Business Park, Limerick.   Verbatim ex Financial controller Kevin Ryan and some of the key technical staff and production operators were hired as part of the team to run the operation

DuTec expanded into the Fulfilment services sector.  The company invested in CDR Duplication, printing and packaging equipment and began to develop into that market. In conjunction with this the company also started provided full turnkey services in the area of box building and kitting for some companies in the region.
